Being Taught From My Gambling Blunders

[ English ]

1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been betting on the net or at a brick and mortar casinos for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you decide to track your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your stomach and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, believe me, this concept hardly ever works. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll set aside prior to beginning your play. Don’t exceed that boundary, regardless how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a separate cup. Don’t spend your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your original set limit, stop. Head out, regardless if it is on the internet or at a land based betting house, do not stay around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.

Remember, wagering is assumed to be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the cost, don’t even begin.
