If you enjoy having a a cocktail every so often, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and leave all money, charge cards and checks at home. Take only the money you anticipate to spend on beverages, tips and only the pocket change you expect to lose and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You could experience a profit following a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps table.
